Has been a while since I wrote this blog last time, so I'll try to catch it up. Let's review from the last weekend:

Was the Jackie's birthday. I didn't give her any present, but I helped in the organization of the surprise party made at home, and also I woke her up with "las mañanitas", not so nice as she and Cinthia made in my birthday, but hey! I did my effort. Besides it was real mess try to organice the surprise party: coordinate the masters peers, look for an alibi, coordinate the shopping issue, and so on. But well, the party was nice: Jackie got drunk with vodka; Joshua and David were a great talking duo; Cinthia, Bubu and Pame tought me how to dance salsa...

The next day, after all the gang went back to their places, Jackie and I watched Million dollar baby. I liked the movie. I was expecting a female version of Rocky, but it really surprised me. Hilary Swank is marbelous.

Then a new week came. Sucar scolded me because I didn't keep a schedule for the lab. Felt drepressed.

In thursday went to the cinema alone to watch Mar adentro. I cryed and cryed and cryed all the movie. It's so sad, so joyfull, so beauty and so discusting...

Keep my read of Crime and punishment, with slow pace, because it's so depressing. I feel that words going through my veins.

Today, with a couple peers, went to a ravine which is custom to be a little zoo. Nice time. Then we ate seafood and got back.

Jackie went to DF, so I spent another weekend alone... I'm very dual about it: I love be alone in home, and I hate it too.

Random ideas:

• The player client libraries must be asynchronic, and GObject seems to be the correct framework for it.

• The greedy exploration needs the global map in order to forbid the review of an already visited area.

• Since I used gmail I was shocked: how a webapp could work as it? Here's the answer. I always disagree with the use of javascript, but it seems that it's making the difference betwen simple static pages and real applications interactions. Forget Java applets, forget ActiveX, forget flash... I'm wondering if there is an open source develop of this javascript-proxy-interface-engine.

• The robot task coordinator must be a finite state machine that controlls another finite state sub-machines. Some of the sub-states could be simultaneous, another must block the system. You could see this as a Bayesian Network.

• Come to daddy: Aphex Twin.

What in hell I did today? Don't remember....

Installed FC3 on a nyquist, code a image filter with matlab for Linux with Markov fields, did some touches in my fslammer project, helped Sergio to play with the Sick Laser.

And that's it...

My self defenses are very low, I don't know why: last week stomach, now flu...

I've seen a couple movies which liked me a lot:

All this weekend I was sick. I had a stomach infection. Now I'm feeling better, but 3 days I was with fever, headache, and so on.

Jackie were in DF all the weekend, so I was alone.

The only relevant thing did was finish the Restrepo's book.

Did some groceries shopping, medicated me, and that's it.

I'm reading Laura Restrepo's Deliro. Good book.

Feel very pressured by the thesis, the job, and so on.

Felt tired and dizzy all day; paid the cable; filled scholarship papers; and that's it.

• Friday: Passed night in Miguel's place at Querétaro. He has a nice house. Worked a while, looked for Norberto and Aurora, grabed some coffee, crashed their car, party with Aurora's work peers.
• Saturday: woke up late, came to Celaya, finished 1984, bbq at Tomás' place... it is good see old friends.
• Sunday: superbowl. Patriots won.

I had machine learning seminar at 11am. I woke up at 9am, and stayed in bed until 10am reading. Didn't care. Decided no to go, so I went to downtown to pay the electricity bill. Took a frappuchino in a place where an Heroes' album were played.

Got back to home, didn't care the lab. Cooked spaghetti.

I slept today at 4am, with an epiphany in mind: a view of my architecture for the robot exploration system. Now I've to code, and that's the hard thing.

Finally I realized that what I want is a GObject version of libplayerc, but I don't have it. So or I write it or I use the libplayerc.

Then I woke up at 8:30 am, so full of energy, I don't know why, (lack of laid off?) and did some jogging.

Went to school, tried to code some thing useful. I couldn't. So I supose I've to be less ambicious, and just try to make the things work.

Then went to CCM. Just waste of time.

Tomorrow I'll be in Querétaro, and Celaya afterwards.
