Hoy fui a ver Corpse Bride. Me gustó, lástima que sólo la exhiben doblada al español.

Hoy tuve el siguiente nick en en el MSN-messenger: "Intenté suicidarme... y por poco y me mato". Ayer tenía "Sick of this life. Why am I here? Searching for answers, which never appear".

Sí, la tesis me mantiene en la salmuera del humor negro. Pero estos sobrenombres me han llevado a conversaciones interesantes con gentes con las que casi no converso. Ayer platiqué sabroso con un antiguo compañero de la carrera y hoy con una excompañera de maestría, ambos preocupados por el motivo de mis alias. Me da gusto saberme procurado.

Vomito mi tesis.

¡Ya casi se termina de cocer esto! O el 4 o el 11 de noviembre es el examen de grado.

Por lo pronto tengo que terminar de sobar la pinche tesis.

Banda: perdí mi celular en algún punto de Querétaro, por lo que mi número de Celaya y Cuernavaca valieron chetos. Ya me compré un nuevo celuloco, así que contáctenme para pasarles mi nuevo número y volver a hacer mi lista de contactos.

Hoy parto para Querétaro y pasado mañana a Celaya. Estaré en tierras bajías por el resto de la semana. Si quieres que nos veamos, ponte en contacto.

Today, today... woke up, took a shower, had some breakfast, read a few words of my current book, and went to muros, a museum. Good pieces of art. It's a private collection with pieces of Diego Rivera, Frida Khalo, Rufino Tamayo, Siqueiros, and more great mexican artist.

I'm impressed with the modern art they have, especilly with Miguel Calderón. There out are great talent waiting to be discover.

Eat at California (miserable meal), got back home, watch TV.

Yesterday, Vicky, Jackie, VeZ, Paco and me went to Santa Fe to watch Saltimbanco, the new performance of Cirque du Soleil. It's good, it worth every niquel, but didn't cause me the impressión what I was expecting. Maybe was the scenario, maybe the size of the circus, I don't really know.

Anyway, everything but the music, the music, the singers, were fabulous, amazing. I loved it.

Got back to Cuernavaca at 3am.

In Wednesday, at house, we watch Blanc, one of the Krzysztof Kieslowski's trilogy Trois couleurs. It's nice. Today we'll see Rouge. Jackie couldn't find Blue at the Blockbuster.

The thesis is moving on, at least with the Sucar's corrections. Still waiting the Romero's ones.

Yesterday Sergio crashed at home. He'll stay until find a place. But it was a bad day for him, because Morales and Sucar went to Veracruz. Any way, he's here and it's the begining of the end.

Without Morales and Sucar anyway we have our weekly meeting. Sergio showed his thesis' defense. Blanca and I made "the hard questions". The rest, as usual, just shut. He've beautiful animations for explain his points. I'll gotta copycat it.

The mobot forum is moving on! more people is using it, even Sucar created an account. My plans for world domination are on rails... niaca-niaca.

Today, finally, I did some work in my thesis. When the work begin, it didn't seem so painful anymore.

Ya me voy a la montaña

Yestedey, VeZ, Jackie and I went to the cinema and watched The 40 Year Old Virgin, an hilarious but stupid movie. Just for having a laughing moments.

The next week will be my last days in charge of the lab. Nadie sabe lo que tiene hasta que lo ve perdido... Let's move to other seas, to other valleys. Sergio will be the next labmaster.

S. me pidió que hiciera unos cambios en WebHadas para soportar conexiones a distintas base de datos.

Intenté trabajar en su instalación. Me ha resultado imposible, jamás encontré que diablos hizo para autenticar sin una tabla de usuarios. Mejor lo abandono hasta que me explique como tiene su cosa esa.

Me sorprende como S. repite una y otra vez lo que le enseñé sin agregar nada, sin modificar nada, sin aportar nada. Solo repite, el mismo código, las mismas platillas una y otra vez con bases de datos distintas. No creo que algún día se lleve el premio a la innovación y mejora continua.

¿Cómo se puede uno aferrar a una tecnología que escribí humildemente como tema de tesis de licenciatura, cuando se tiene frameworks libres que implementan arquitecturas de software como MVC y que constantemente se están perfeccionando?

En estas cavilaciones pienso lo mucho que disfruté la materia de Arquitectura de Software que impartió Bárbaro Ferro. Me gusto mucho tirar matemáticas para mi tesis de robótica móvil y toda esa parafernalia científico-computacional, pero se que, en caso de no seguir el camino de académico, no me servirá de mucho más que una buena experiencia... ¿debí haber hecho la maestría en ingeniería de software?... no, fue divertido como pasó todo.

Hoy, otro día solo en el paraíso: fui a hacer la despensa de la semana. El vino que compré la semana pasada esta muy malo. Renté dos películas: The Nightmare Before Christmas y Happiness. La primera no la he visto. La segunda es perturbadora, tuve que verla por partes porque la historia del psicólogo, padre de familia y pedarasta que viola a los amigos de su hijo, simplemente me parecía demasiado enferma.

El orden del día:

Ver televisión, escuchar música, programar, jugar con el wiki.

24 horas sin salir de casa, sin ver a nadie, salvo la señorita del INEGI que vino ha hacer una encuesta de prueba.

Le tiré un telefonema a Paty... su voz es rara, no me gusta el acento chilango.
